Silverdale Primary Academy Celebrates Continued Success with ‘Good’ Ofsted Rating
The University of Brighton Academies Trust is thrilled to announce the continued success of Silverdale Primary Academy in maintaining its ‘Good’ rating during the recent Ofsted inspection. This accomplishment is a testament to the unwavering commitment and collaborative effort of our academy community, showcasing the dedication of our exceptional staff, the outstanding performance of our pupils, and the steadfast support from our families.
The report highlighted several key aspects that underscore the quality of care and education provided at Silverdale Primary Academy. Particularly, their high aspirations for pupils were recognised with inspectors noting that pupils “work hard to meet these expectations in their learning and behaviour and are particularly motivated by the ‘ninja code’. Pupils are keen to ‘collect’ the ninja characters who embody the values the school expects the pupils to display.”
The report further emphasised that “Personal development is a strength of the school. Leaders strongly focus on supporting pupils who are disadvantaged. This enables them to have good access to opportunities to develop their interests, such as music lessons. Pupils are helped to develop strong leadership skills, including older pupils responsibly supporting younger children at lunch time.” It was also noted that pupils at the academy develop impeccable manners, where mutual respect and politeness are at the heart of the school’s ethos.
Principal at Silverdale Primary Academy, Jonathan Morris said, “We are incredibly proud of our ‘Good’ rating and remain committed to working tirelessly to maintain and exceed these high standards.”
Chief Executive at The University of Brighton Academies Trust, Dr John Smith, spoke proudly of the recent results, “We are delighted with the ‘Good’ rating reaffirmed by the recent inspection. It is a testament to the unwavering dedication of the entire academy community, and truly reflects our ongoing commitment to inspiring our pupils and staff to flourish and achieve their best.”
