Dear Parents, Carers and Students
I wish to share, with you, this BBC clip featuring the voice of Sir David Attenborough, for I feel his work to ensure the beauty, urgency, fragility and vibrancy of our planet, for all to see and from which we can all learn a great deal, is unparalleled.
I hope, at this most challenging of times, when the unknown is what we fear the most, that we can all take comfort in the true magic that our natural world heralds, on a daily, weekly and lifelong basis.
We can rest assured that as we, at some point in the future, come through this uncertain time, that the certainty of natural world; its splendour, unrelenting quest for survival, renewal of and vigour for life will help us all to heal and to fully appreciate both its simplicity and magnificence.
I hope that you are all able to stop and spend some time within our natural world, be that listening to the burgeoning dawn chorus of our garden birds or feeling the warmth of the sun on your face and that you afford yourselves these precious moments when the simplest of events, in our life, can bring peace and comfort.
As always, I wish you good health and peace of mind.
